You might be very familiar with the USB Type-A connector, the most common design on your phone charger.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is USB C<\/strong><\/h2><p>USB Type C, also known as USB-C, is the emerging standard for charging and transferring data. Right now, it\u2019s included in devices like the newest laptops, phones, and tablets and\u2014given time\u2014it\u2019ll spread to pretty much everything that currently uses the older, larger USB connector.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why&nbsp;USB C is the future?<\/strong><\/h2><p>In comparison with the old Type-A, micro B, micro A connector, the most obvious advantage of USB C is that you can easily plugin because it\u2019s reversible, just like Apple\u2019s lightning connector. And the plug can be inserted on either end and it will work.&nbsp;Besides, it\u2019s small and can support various new USB standard like USB 3.1 and USB power delivery (USB PD), which means you can charge and sync at a higher speed.
